A dog cage is a type of pet cage. The surface treatment of the cage is plastic spraying, plastic dipping, electrophoresis, chrome plating, zinc plating, imitation gold, etc. Sometimes, we have to choose to keep our dogs in cages, so it becomes very important to choose a cage suitable for our dogs. Here are a few precautions about choosing a dog cage.

1, according to the dog's body type to choose the right cage
There is a saying that you should choose a cage that is three times the size of the dog, but how do you calculate it is three times the size? If you calculate from the size, the top and corners of the cage are actually unutilized space for the dog. In fact, the choice of size is that the length of the cage is twice the length of the dog, which should be more appropriate for the dog. However, if the dog you buy is a puppy, you should consider its growth, so the cage must be purchased according to the adult size of the dog.

2、The firmness of the dog cage
If you go to buy a cage, you will find that the texture of the cage is mostly iron, with iron wire, or columnar square iron bar. For smaller dogs, iron wire can be used, but for larger dogs, it is necessary to choose square iron bar, which is much stronger than iron wire. The advantage of iron wire is that if you don't need it, it can be folded and put away, but iron rod can't.

3、Whether the structure of the dog cage is reasonable
In general, there are not many forms of dog cages, and most of them are relatively reasonable. There are trays below, which can facilitate cleaning the dog's defecation. What I want to remind is to pay attention to observe whether the bottom plate of the square iron bar dog cage (that is, the bottom of the cage above the plastic tray) is movable and can be taken out for cleaning, because the dog's stool will stick to it, and it will be too troublesome if it cannot be taken out. There is also a relatively large wire dog cage, usually without wheels below, which is very inconvenient. It will be very heavy to move, and it will not be too difficult to move a small wire dog cage.
